                             ORDINANCE NO.   10507 
        
        
                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO AMEND THE RT-1 RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE ZONE,
                   RELATIVE TO SETBACK REQUIREMENTS

              	   BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, 
the
         Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
              	   SECTION 1.	  That Article V, Section 123(4) be
         deleted in its entirety and substitute in lieu thereof the
         following:
                       
              (4)  All buildings must be set back at least 40 feet
                   from any exterior dedicated public street.  The
                   setback may be reduced to 25 feet if landscaping
                   is provided along the exterior street(s).  Front
                   setback from any interior street shall be 25 feet,
                   or 10 feet if rear parking and loading is
                   provided.
        
         	   SECTION 2. 	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage
         as required by law.
